Silver ring handmade in the North of England, named after the path objects take around one another.
Each ring is made to order using recycled 925 sterling and it is gently hammered to create a unique texture.
It is approximately 1.5mm wide, making it perfect for either stacking or alone as a finger, midi or thumb ring.
Three choices of finishes - polished, matte and oxidised*.
The ring is presented with a natural organic cotton drawstring bag and ribbon, making it a lovely ethical gift or to treat yourself.
*An oxidised finish is the result of a chemical reaction. The colour intensity may vary between black and deep grey. Over time, when worn, this finish will begin to slowly wear away, revealing the silver underneath.
Materials - Recycled 925 eco sterling silver.
Product Packaging - A 6x8cm hand printed, GOTS certified natural organic cotton drawstring bag (made specially for Ara | the altar in a carbon neutral factory as part of an ethical supply chain), a hand-printed organic cotton ribbon, a business card made from recycled pulp and printed with plant-based ink and a stalk of dried lavender or seasonal foliage.
Ara | the altar was created by Lauren who makes all her pieces by hand in her studio in North West England. One of the two main inspirations for her work is astronomy and nature and the result is fine jewellery for stylish everyday living. The environment is firmly at the heart of Lauren's craft with all precious metals used recycled as well as biodegradable packaged material. Ara | the altar was our first jewellery partner brand and we think that her jewellery is simply stunning whilst treading lightly on this planet.
