Sustainable Edit: Kendall Jenner’s Style

So you want to achieve Kendall’s effortless, off-duty style for a minimum price as well as staying sustainable? Consider it done.

As much as we love Kendall Jenner’s modelling gigs we have to say her chic off-duty ensembles are really what get her noticed. The model, who isn’t afraid to take risks on or off the catwalk, enjoys keeping the fashion fanatics who follow her every move on their toes.

One thing that took us by surprise is her support for sustainable designers including Havre Studio, House Of Sunny and (di)vision. Jenner, also regularly rocks vintage accessories and archive pieces from the world’s most prestigious fashion houses on a regular basis.

Kendall Jenner’s street style can easily be replicated simply finding her favourite on-trend pieces. We’ve got 4 of her fave staple wardrobe pieces to copy her killer street style while still adhering to your eco-friendly values.

Athleisure Wear:

The first of Kendall’s minimalist ensemble, like the rest of her workout wardrobe, is from athletic brand Alo Yoga, which she also happens to be the face of. However, looking at the brand in more depth we can see that it is not the most sustainable when it comes to environmental and labour. Good On You, a company that rates fashion brands on their environmental and social impacts, rated Alo as ‘Not Good Enough’ and it’s easy to see why. The brand has not disclosed a sufficient amount of information about their environmental policies.

If you’d like to recreate this stylish workout look, we have the best eco-friendly dupes that put the planet first.

Maxi and Midi Dresses:

When you think of summer dresses, you might think of airy maxi dresses and lingerie-inspired slips, but lightweight materials aren’t your only option. Even on the hottest days, unexpected fabrics may bring that extra flair to even the most basic looks. Kendall Jenner can attest to that.

We loved this puff-sleeve, sweetheart-neckline dress from Rodarte, what we didn’t love the price tag.. Moreover, not a lot is known about the brands sustainability values and with that we don’t have the heart to purchase anything from them at this time being. That being said, we’ve got the dupe for you.. Let’s recreate the look!

Stidston Studio: The Stidston Studio Midi Dress:

It is handcrafted in a small design studio in Devon and has much-loved pockets, ideal for summer weddings, parties and other special occasions! Made from sustainable, soft Tencel fabric this is a must-have addition to your sustainable wardrobe.

Matching Sets:

Co-ords are big right now, in case you didn’t know. Kendall, as expected, was quick to jump on the bandwagon. She enjoys experimenting with patterned sets for daytime looks. On talk show appearances and paparazzi-filled nights out, she typically wears matching ensembles inspired by the early 2000s.

From so many sets to choose from we particularly loved this black and white co-ord set she recently wore.
