Wearth was launched in 2017 by Imogen & Ed, at the time they wanted to make positive changes to make their lifestyle more sustainable. However, they found there was a limited retail offering, both online and on the high street, not making it easy to discover eco-friendly, vegan & ethical products.
With this in mind, they set out to create an online platform which brought these sustainably-focused UK brands & makers with two aims:
- To make it easier for consumers to shop and live more consciously.
- To create a platform for like minded brands to grow their sales and benefit from increased marketing exposure (e.g. press, social media coverage & advertisement).
Making the choice to try and live sustainably can feel overwhelming at times and our ambition from the start has been for Wearth to be a beacon of positivity, making it easy to not only discover green alternatives in one place but also be a content source through our blog and social media for those looking for advice & tips.
From humble beginnings, in just over 3 and a half years Wearth has quickly established itself as one of the leading eco-friendly online retailers.
Why are we raising?
We have achieved a great amount of traction so far with no external investment, for us now it is about getting Wearth to the next level and helping to do our best to help make it easier to shop and live more consciously.
